Five Actions You Can Take to Protest Fifty Shades Movies

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation ran a campaign in the beginning of February protesting the third installment in the "Fifty Shades" movie trilogy.
Instead of supporting the most recent of these movies that glorifies violence and horrifying sexual, emotional, and physical abuse, NCOSE invites us to donate $50 (or whatever we can afford) to a domestic violence shelter, thereby supporting women in real relationships that abuse power and utilize coercive control.

For Your Marriage is an initiative started by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in 2007.  The initiative's goal is to promote and provide resources for all people to "understand and live God's plan for happy, holy marriages by providing educational and spiritual resources" (from the ForYourMarriage.org "About Us" page).
​Resources include formation and guidance on dating, engaged, and married couples, as well as family life and parenting.  We encourage you to explore the plethora of resources and wealth of wisdom.
