Homily from the Domestic Violence Awareness Month Vigil Mass for Family Peace: October 7th, 2017
Monsignor John Enzler, CEO and President of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, was the presider and homilist at our October Mass for Family Peace. The Mass was held in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, within sight of our very own Catholics For Family Peace office on the campus of The Catholic University of America. Msgr. Enzler is a passionate advocate for family peace. During his homily, he shared some harrowing statistics while also encouraging us to take action by praying and educating ourselves about domestic violence in our own parishes and communities. Please take the time to listen to his message, and let us share in the joyful hope we have as advocates for all people's safety and dignity. Click on the link below: VIDEO |
